$begingroup$ @OrangeDog I'd personally say no. My place all alongside has been that a hash purpose need to map to a set-sizing output, even so the input sizing is irrelevant. We have gotten really far off-subject matter. Your answer has good stuff in it, just be careful with your formal definiti
